Design for Gail Be Designs – 2015
Concept, Draping, Fabrication, Photography
The tourmaline dream was a design that I had been working on in my spare moments at Gail’s studio, and one day she said she had “seen it in a dream” and we needed to make it. So I set to work with her occasional input and created this gown, with the help of some seriously skilled bead artists. The design was meant to be fun and flirty – glamorous without being too overbearing. The same design was copied over in 3 additional colors: navy, black and ivory.
